SOT-AZ annual Veterans Day golf Tournament is now a full week of activities

Thank you to all who have registered early for the Veterans Day Golf Tournament; we have just a couple of spaces still available for our signature event.

And to those who have signed up for the Par 3 18-Hole Tournament on November 9…we thank you!

But we still have a number of open slots for this new event, and we need to fill the field otherwise we will be forced to cancel this Par 3 18-Hole Tournament and refund the current registration money.

Note: If you are already registered for the Veterans Day Golf Tournament, we have a special rate for both golf events. Here’s the scoop:

Registration Par 3 18-Hole Tournament fee of $50 per player and includes cart and range balls.

A combo ticket for both golf events, including the special tournament games, is $129 per player. Please note: the Par 3 18-Hole Tournament is not a team event, so anyone can register for this special package price. Please contact Allen Crawford for more information.

November 9, 2016 – Shotgun start is 1:30 p.m.

Entry based on handicaps and arranged by men (3 men: HC:1-9; HC: 10-18; HC: 19+) and women (2 women: HC: 1-24; HC: 25+) flights with prize money awarded for each flight:

First prize, $250; second prize, $100; third prize, $50. Closest to the pin for both men and women is $100 each.

Remember, if we do not sell out this par 3 golf tournament we will cancel and refund the registration as the prize money is coming from the registration fees.

Week of events:

November 6: Annual Auction of great donated prizes have included house painting, landscape and home improvement packages, vacations, gourmet dinners and much more! Time and location details to follow.

November 7: Jazz concert featuring the Community College Jazz Band with Robson’s own Andy Hockett playing the trombone in the Ballroom.

November 8: SOT “Fajita Fiesta” Dinner of chicken, beef and shrimp with a side of their signature “shrimp ranchera” side dish at the LaPaloma Restaurant in Eloy. Tickets will go on sale September 30.

November 9: First Par 3 Golf Tournament** entry price is $50 per person. This is not a team event.

November 11: The Grand Finale is our annual Best Ball Golf Tournament** – $75 per player, which includes lunch. Additional festivities include a putting contest and games to lower your team score by purchasing mulligans, 15 ft. enhance-your-shot string, along with spinning the wheel.

Both golf tournament paid registration deadlines: November 1 or until full.
