Robson Unplugged set for January 2

Our next Robson Unplugged event in the Grill will be right after we bring in the new year on Wednesday, January 2! There will be no time for resting when it comes to getting out and hearing some good music.

We will start 2019 with an evening of live jazz. We are bringing back the Moore Quintet to play all of your favorite jazz standards with a few surprises added throughout the night. It is a treat to see and hear Duane Moore, the band leader, utilizing his 55 years of experience playing sax, clarinet and trombone to bring out the best in each song. Duane will also have his son, Rick Moore, playing trumpet and alto sax. The father and son make a great horn section.

The rhythm section will feature Stacey Seaman on piano, Travis Sawade on drums and John Sutton on bass. Each of the rhythm players will be called upon at times to do some soloing as well. All five members of the band are or have been college music professors and possess years of training, playing and teaching.

Bring your dancing shoes and hit the floor with your favorite ballroom steps in foxtrot, swing, waltz as well as Latin beats. January 2 promises to be a great evening, so come on out and have a good time.
