May 29 was the 26th annual National Senior Health and Fitness Day® event. In order to promote fitness locally, a few Robson Ranch ladies did a segment for ABC15 showing different exercises at different levels. The segment can also be found on YouTube. Most of us have heard all the benefits of exercising while aging but sometimes we have to be reminded to be consistent and stay with it, even if life throws us a few curves. Almost any person at any fitness level can exercise; there really should be no excuses. Remember, there is always an alternative exercise or different option to be found.
Don’t forget to check out the group fitness schedule for workshops and classes that might help you stay consistent with your routine. Some of the classes include Yin Yoga, Tai Chi, Chair Cardio, Power Cycle, Body Shred and Butt, Gut and Thighs, just to name a few. There will be no classes held on July 4.
