On Saturday, August 13, the Pottery Guild sponsored a flower-making class given by Donna Repaty. In this class making poppies and pansies was taught as well as using an airbrush to complete the coloring for one’s project. Eight students came with only their clay and a greenware piece they had hand built prior to class. The clay was then transformed into these long lasting flowers and arranged on their greenware piece in an enjoyable three and a half hours. You may find some of these pieces for sale in the upcoming pottery sales.
