The second annual member/guest tournament was held March 10, 11 and 12. Forty-five members and forty-five guests participated in the three-day event. The format for the event included a nine-hole scramble and nine holes of true scotch on the first day. The second day was a two man count both net scores, and the third day was a two man one best ball low net.
The entry fee included three days of golf, pizza and beer, dinner, continental breakfast, lunch, logo wind shirt, a sleeve of pro-v golf balls and RR golf cap. Thirty percent of the field received prize money in the form of pro shop credit.
The event was extremely successful, and everyone involved had a great time. The tournament gives us the opportunity to showcase our wonderful community and show off our great golf course.
A special thanks goes out to our golf pro Jay, Heather in catering and Jeremy at the sales office. Thanks also to the committee that helped put the tournament together.
