The annual Christmas Golf Cart Parade was electric

Ron and Kim Gibbs

On the evening of Friday, December 8, 34 golf carts and even some bicycles, all decked out in lights, garland, decorations and more lights, paraded throughout our community. The parade kicked off from the softball field parking lot where our very own Benjamin Castro and his food and beverage team provided our first refreshment station. As we proceeded through the community, our friends and neighbors lined the streets to cheer us on and provided several more “refreshment stations” along the route. Despite the chilly temperatures the warm spirit of the holiday season kept everyone warm and in good spirits! The hot toddies helped, too! We would like to thank everyone who participated to make this year’s parade a huge success! Everyone did an outstanding job decorating their carts and bikes. And a big thank you to all of those who hosted a refreshment station. And last but certainly not least, thanks to all who braved the cold temperatures to watch the parade. We couldn’t have done it without all of you!

We hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy  New Year!
