On May 5, six participants “tangled” with Mary Beth Fisher. Mary Beth explained the history of Zentangle, a name trademarked by a meditation practitioner and an artist. Mary Beth calls Zentangling yoga for your brain. Having taken numerous yoga classes, Mary Beth first had members of the class do some meditative, deep breathing. She demonstrated and had students practice a variety of tangling patterns. Mary Beth then turned the participants loose to create their own patterns for a final product.
