The Wisconsin “transplants” had a party!

They came from such exotic places as Oconomowoc, Chippewa Falls, Ashwaubenon, Iron River, Fish Creek, Menasha, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, La Crosse, Lake Tomahawk and more. On March 13 about 50 Robson Ranch/Wisconsin “transplants” braved 80 degree wind chills, bright sunny skies and the “unfrozen tundra” to attend Robson Ranch’s first all-Wisconsin Party.

Co-hosts Mike and Julie Lesica and Mary and Steve Falek coordinated the event. Mike and Julie offered the use of their beautiful home and patio for the party. The weather was absolutely perfect at party time, sunny, low 80s and just enough of a breeze to fill the air with the smell of sizzling bratwurst! What would any respectable Wisconsin party be without bratwurst, beer and Wisconsin cheese? Mike Lesica grilled all the bratwurst, and guests brought delicious appetizers, desserts and many Wisconsin stories to share.

Door prizes were given to party guests for their Robson Ranch/Wisconsin connection: Clyde and Cookie Smith (2006) along with Larry and Julie Kostrowski (2007) were the earliest move-ins to Robson Ranch; Kelly and Kathy Quinn (2015) and Deb Atchinson (2015) were the most recent move-ins. Felix Fedie also won the door prize for most years spent in the Badger state, but we’re not telling how many.

We all had such a good time that plans were discussed for next year’s party.
