The Desert Bats

Congratulations to our tournament softball team, the Desert Bats. They recently participated in two prestigious events: World Masters in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Huntsman Games in St. George, Utah. World Masters is the senior softball World Series. There were over 500 teams entered. The Huntsman Games Senior Olympics involved a variety of sports and several countries were represented.
Unfortunately we didn’t make it too far in Las Vegas, but it was a different story in St. George. Our team found its rhythm and won the Silver Medal!
Robson Ranch team members were Paul Gayer, Tom Harris, Tony Haffer, Ken Muhlbeier, Bill Stanick and Dave Waibel. Former resident Dave Renaldo was team manager.
