On Wednesday, January 20, members of the Robson Ranch Social Bridge Club had an all-day tournament and luncheon. Play consisted of three rounds of six hands each in the morning and another three rounds of six hands each in the afternoon. Robson Ranch catering department did a wonderful job of providing beverages all day as well as a sandwich/salad bar for lunch. Cookies and brownies were set out for the afternoon.

Winners were: First place Joanne Johnson with 8640 points; second place Don Wilson with 6990 points; third place Claire Law with 6710 points; fourth place Elaine Neitzel with 6350 points and fifth place Wendy Brown with 6210 points.

Other prizes awarded were: Small Slam, Margaret Erickson and Terry Price; Four Aces, Marilyn Stewart; Four Kings, Penny Bell; Four Queens, Babs Barney-Steeves; 150 Honors, Wendy Brown; True Yarborough, Marsha Caldwell.

Final prize of the day went for low score. It is recognized because the winner of that award has definitely struggled all day with bad cards. The winner this tournament was Bud Haugen with 740 points.

Many thanks to committee members: Carol Male, club president; Dell Hoff who was in charge of prize money; Laurie Waluk who handled registration and catering; Jaclyn Marshall who was in charge of set up; Babs Barney-Steeves and Will Steeves who did rotation and tallies.
