RRMGA members score first aces

Terry Kumbera

Two members of the RRMGA scored their very first hole in one of their golfing careers. Both aces were made on hole no. 6 of the Buttes nine. The first one occurred on Friday, January 20, by Terry Kumbera playing from the Rust tee box. The 111 yard pitching wedge flew directly at the pin, bounced once and disappeared into the hole.

The second one occurred one week later on Friday, January 27, by Jim Barber. Jim was playing from the Pine tees and holed out a 140 yard 5 iron into a stiff wind. Congratulations to both golfers on their achievement.
