Fifteen members from the Robson Ranch Ladies Golf Association competed throughout the year in the Eastern Valley Team Play. Other golf clubs in the league are Ahwatukee, Cottonwood, Coyote Run, Lone Tree, Dobson Ranch, Oakwood, San Marcos, Foothills and Ken McDonald. For each match eight players compete with one of the other clubs in a four ball match play. Points are accumulated for low gross and low net on each hole. At the end of the season, awards are given to a gross champion and a net champion. The RRLGA team placed seventh in the gross division and eighth in the net division. Our ladies are often seen in the winter leaving in the dark with layers of clothing. They play when the weather is great; they play in the wind and the cold. But if you ask any of the players, it is all about having fun, looking good and finding the best places in the area for lunch!
