General Meeting and Member-Member Tournament

RRLGA’s general meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, after golf. Besides board and new member introductions, topics include approving minutes from the April 8, 2014 general meeting as well as proposed changes to the Standing Rules and Constitution/Bylaws. The proposed standing rules and bylaws changes are posted on the league’s website and pro shop bulletin board.

November 18 is also the member-member tournament, so get yourself a partner and sign-up for this fun tournament!

Robson Challenge

Each fall the Robson Communities ladies golf clubs compete in a golf tournament called the Robson Challenge. The location is rotated among Robson golf clubs, and this year Oakwood Golf Club will host the tournament on December 1.

The host club determines the number of entries by flight, and the RRLGA will select team members based on their November 15 indexes. The RRLGA club and flight champions receive an automatic entry into the tournament. This year these ladies are Candy Burtis, Lorna Watts, Jean DeChristopher, Dee Lee and Carol Ilten.

The flight breakdown is as fellows:

Flight 1 – Four players with indexes 0-18.1

Flight 2 – Five players with indexes 18.2-26.1

Flight 3 – Three players with indexes 26.2+

The club pros will also be playing.

RRLGA members are encouraged to register for the tournament on the club’s website. As information becomes available it will be shared with the members.

Membership Dues

RRLGA membership renewals for 2015 are now underway. Current members can make payments through AWGA’s website; new members should contact Jan Stocek, membership chair, at [email protected]. The payment deadline is December 31, 2014; however, members should renew prior to December 20 to avoid being inadvertently dropped.
