Robson Ranch Singers perform holiday concert

The Hermosa Ballroom at Robson Ranch was filled with the sounds of the season as the Robson Ranch Singers presented their Holiday Concert on December 6 and 7. Forty of the 55 members of the chorus performed a program consisting of a wide variety of seasonal music from Broadway, contemporary Gospel and various musical traditions from around the world celebrating Christmas and Hanukkah. The singers also performed two songs, He Shall Feed His Flock and the Hallelujah Chorus, from Handel’s Messiah. The program featured several soloists and ensembles. The audience was asked to join in on some old favorite carols, and the program was concluded with a beautiful rendition of Let There Be Peace On Earth. The group is directed by Jacquie Fedie and accompanied on the piano by Sandy Kantrud. They will be traveling to The Garnet Retirement and Assisted Living Community on December 14 to give their Christmas Concert for the residents and staff.

The Singers began rehearsing in November and were busy from the start. They were invited to participate at the Veterans Day program for 680 students of the Arizona City Elementary School on November 10 honoring area veterans and also sang for the Support Our Troops golf tournament in the Hermosa Ballroom on November 11.

The Spring Concert is already scheduled for March 21 and 22. Rehearsals will begin on Monday, January 4. New members are always welcome. There are no auditions, but experience singing in a choral group is helpful. Call Jacquie Fedie at 715-835-6573 or Connie Koza at 507-429-7936 for more information.
