Maxine’s 5th watercolor class recap

Terry Price

Watercolor artist Maxine Harrison’s fifth watercolor class was held at the Creative Arts Center Studio November 19 and 21. The class included Mary Beth Fisher, Laurie Waluk, Fran Fowler, H.D. Kim, Nancy Friedman, Chris Schroeppel and Joann Bunyea. Terry Price assists Maxine with the class. This class was beginning watercolor painters who were thrilled with the beauty they created! The class is open to all skill levels. Maxine’s classes include some helpful basic techniques and help with the project that is being done. The students are given the pattern, and it is traced onto the watercolor paper so it isn’t necessary to be able to draw. The class is about learning how to paint without fear of being able to draw. You can have two fun days and create a painting that you will be proud of and amaze your family and friends! Pictures of the paintings done in previous classes are in a frame at the CAC. The class is limited to eight students so you will get individual help. You can put your name on the sheet at the Sports Center in the activities notebook if you would like to be called when Maxine’s next class is scheduled.
