Hot Fun In The Summertime

Flo Van Volkom

What caused 60+ people to descend on Robson Ranch at 7:00 a.m. Monday morning, May 2? Was it free breakfast? No! It was the start of summer intercommunity coed pickleball. The intercommunity play allows our residents the opportunity to meet, make friends and play with players from all around. On opening day there were players from Palm Creek, Mission Royale and other local areas. In addition players came from as far away as Maricopa, Chandler, SaddleBrook, SaddleBrook Ranch, Quail Creek, Green Valley and more. Pickleball thrives during the summer in our area because of these players.

Intercommunity play is open to players of all levels Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:00-9:00 a.m. Palm Creek will host mixed inter-community play on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 7:00 a.m. All Robson Ranch players are invited and encouraged to play. If you are staying here, round robin play continues Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7:00-9:00 a.m.

For those of you who are not morning folks, come out and join the great group of social players who meet Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 6:30 p.m. They are a fun crowd and welcome players of all skill levels.

So pick your time and get out there and play!
