General Manager’s Report

As the saying goes–it’s never too late to learn. Professionalism, accountability, and education are of utmost importance to me as a professional community manager. Each day life presents the opportunity for me to learn something new no matter how long I have been in the community association industry. You may have noticed both the CAAM and CMCA designations on my signature line. Continuing education is very important to me and this is why I have worked hard to obtain both of these respected designations. The first designation stands for Certified Arizona Association Manager (CAAM) which I have held for seven years. This program signifies that I have the training required by the Arizona Association of Community Managers organization to address community association management issues specific to our climate and laws in Arizona. I have also passed additional testing requirements in the areas of essential management principles and ethical business practices. This ensures that professionals are comprehensively prepared to represent the values of Arizona’s communities and homes. Continuing education classes on topics, such as the annual law update, support my career by enhancing my professional education as required annually. The second designation, which I have held for the past five years, is the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA). This is the only national certification program designed exclusively for managers of homeowner, condominium associations and cooperatives. The CMCA recognizes individuals who have successfully demonstrated the core knowledge, skills and abilities required to manage a community association. As a CMCA General Manager, I must adhere to the CMCA Standards of Professional Conduct and obtain continuing education credits. The CMCA is also more difficult to obtain as the foundation of community management is based on a national level vs. a more familiar state level such as the CAAM.

Robson Inc continues to offer support to me as your General Manager. They do so by providing opportunities for continuing education, which in return benefits homeowners as I oversee the management of Robson Ranch which includes the many wonderful amenities along with managing the day to day operations of the community. I am grateful for the opportunity to manage Robson Ranch and for the opportunity to work with a great group of homeowners such as you.
