Conversation Spanish classes starting in January

We are again offering two, fun, conversational Spanish classes, starting in January. The Spanish class will be instructed by Professor John Prevost from Central Arizona College. John has taught at the college and in the community for more than 20 years. His non-threatening class has received great reviews from local community members. We are excited to have him back this year!

The beginning class, Spanish 1, is designed for those students with little or no knowledge of speaking Spanish. The objective of the class is to try to have fun while learning the basics of communicating with native Spanish speakers.

We will also be offering a Spanish 2 class for those students who took last year’s class or want to brush up on their Spanish. The objective of the continuance class will be to provide students the ability to increase their knowledge of the Spanish language and feel more comfortable in speaking and understanding Spanish.

Classes will be held on Friday mornings starting January 13 and will run for seven weeks. Spanish 1 meets from 8:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m.; Spanish 2 meets from 10:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. in the Pima/Toltec Rooms. The cost is $75.00 and includes everything you need.

Note: A minimum of 15 students is required to hold the class.
