Concert Under the Stars is coming to Eloy

Concert Under the Stars, Friday, October 17, 2014, features the music of Domingo De Grazia and his band coupling their dynamic rhythms with vibrant Latin, salsa and rock drum beats in the picturesque setting of St. Helen’s Garden. Bubbling fountains and the stars above form the natural setting for this unique dinner concert.

Domingo, youngest son of artist Ted De Grazia, was raised with the sounds and imagery of the desert Southwest, which is reflected in his music. His guitar playing has charmed audiences with songs that are as rhythmic as they are percussive, moving from passionate to whimsical, elegant to sorrowful.

Domingo carries the role of front-man and lead guitar while Grammy nominated artist Jim Pavett brings percussion and live drums. Violinist Beth Daunis brings exotic and soulful violin, while Mark Brugler and Aaron Kirk round out the core of the band with bass and rhythm guitar.

Cocktails featuring beer and wine will be available for purchase at the bar starting at 5:00 p.m. During the same time you can purchase tickets for some unique, quality raffle items and listen to the classical guitar of our own John Sutton.

At 6:00 sit back at a linen covered table, sip your wine and let La Paloma serve one of its elegant meals. Start off with a wedge salad topped with chopped tomato and bacon and served with homemade blue cheese dressing accompanied by a basket of homemade yeast rolls. Next is a tender chicken breast resting atop a bed of couscous and topped with a lemon twist. Fresh asparagus spears wrapped in lemon grass complete the main course. A Mexican spiced brownie topped with fresh whipped cream and sprinkled with cocoa concludes the meal.

The Concert Under the Stars with Domingo De Grazia and his band will begin around 7:00 p.m. This truly promises to be an exceptional evening not to be missed!

Tickets are $35 per person; sales end October 10.
