Angel Tree program continues at Robson Ranch

Mary Beth Fisher

The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program that provides toys to deserving children in Casa Grande and Eloy as well as throughout Pinal County will continue even though Mary and her husband H.D. are relocating to the east coast.

Mary Kim and Mary Beth Fisher initiated this project Christmas of 2008. Mary Kim soon took over as coordinator with several volunteers assisting each year. Mary Beth Fisher will assume the coordinator role and is looking for volunteers to assist in delivering the toys to the Salvation Army location in Casa Grande in early December.

Robson Ranch will have 150 names again this year and looks to the continued generosity of the community to meet the need.

All the toys donated stay in Pinal County with the majority going to Casa Grande and Eloy families who sign up for the program.

Those residents who volunteer as a bell ringer at the JC Penney’s storefront at the Promenade will be coordinated by a yet to be named volunteer. If you are interested in helping in either project, email [email protected]. Thank you again for the seven years of continued support; the children appreciate you.
